Six Months Old

Parker you are SIX months old today.  What have you been up to lately?

• 
  
  You weigh 16.65 lbs (29%) and are 27.5 in long (82%)
  
• You are still in a size 2 diaper
  
• You have eaten applesauce, squash, pears, bananas, oatmeal and rice cereal - you had a slight reaction to the pears so we will try again in a few weeks
  
• You are sleeping 10 to 11 hours at night and three naps a day
  
• You wear size 9 to 12 month clothes because you are so l-o-n-g.  Mommy bought you a Christmas outfit and she had to get a 12-18 month size - how can that be???
  
• You are sitting up on your own for a few seconds at a time.  You rock back and forth on your knees and crawl backwards...soon you will be taking off.  Mommy is going to have to baby proof the house.
  
• You talk all the time - especially in your saucer.  You laugh the hardest when your Daddy is giving you a hard time.  You love to try to get his necklace.  You love anything bright and shiny that gets your attention.
  
• That is all I can think of tonight.  We love you so much, Parker.  My, look how much you have grown.
