5 Months Old!

Parker you are 5 months old today!  What have you been up to lately?

• You are now in a size 2 diaper....this makes mommy very sad.
• You have started eating rice cereal, and today we are going to try oatmeal.
• You have started playing in an activity saucer - you love it for just a few minutes at a time.
• You are getting better sitting in your bumbo seat.
• You take between one to two hour naps at a time during the day, and still sleep about 11 hours at night.
• You love to kick your aquarium and turn it on in the middle of the night.  There is nothing like hearing your lullaby songs at 2 or 3 AM! 
• When you wake up you babble and suck on your blanket.  You have the biggest smile on your face when we come to get you.  You are such a happy baby. 
• You practically never take a pacifier.  You love to put your hands - and anything else - in your mouth.  You are quite the drooler.
• You went on your first road trip to San Antonio and did beautifully!
• You continue to steal the hearts of your mommy and daddy.  We love you, Parker.

You love to close your mouth like this.  It is so cute. 

Parker, you had your first Halloween!  You were a teddy bear, thanks to your friend Ms. Laura.  She bought this costume for you and you were sooooo adorable.

After a while you didn't like the hood on your head, so we had to take it off!  Gramere said you then looked like a monk.

Aunt Andrea came by for a visit and to help pass out candy.

By the end of the night, you had had enough!

You love your saucer...thank you Aunt Kristan for letting us borrow it. 

He is so inquisitive.

We had some dear friends come visit Parker last weekend.  I love getting to spend time with Lauren and her family.

I used to babysit Suzanna when she was a baby...and now here she is all beautiful and grown up. 

And she is so good with babies!

Thank you Lauren, Suzanna and William for coming over!  Watch our world, William is 16 and DRIVING!  I remember changing his diapers too!

Thought I would include a picture of Parker and his Daddy.  I love you both!

Parker LOVES to read books.  His favorite right now at my house is Brown Bear Brown Bear.  Not sure what he likes at Gramere's...it is a library over there!
