Parker you are 7 months old! What have you been up to lately?
You got your first cold on New Years Eve. You are feeling a little better today so hopefully we are turning the corner. I hate seeing you sick. You've had a low fever all week, runny nose, and bad cough. You went to the doctor and got a breathing treatment and they said you weigh 17 pounds.
You are still in a size 2 diaper. You eat anything put in front of you...you seem to like all of your baby food.
You now play in a play pin when mommy and daddy have things to do and we need a safe place to keep you. Since you crawl everywhere we can't leave you alone for one second!
You do NOT take naps. I'm not sure what is going on with that...but you won't sleep for much longer than 30 minutes at a time. This makes you pretty fussy at night time. We are trying our best to break you of this habit.
You can pull up on your feet when holding on to the couch. This week you walked the length of the couch while holding on.
We are working on waving "hi" to people. You sometimes will do it, although I'm not really sure if you know what you are doing or not.
You play a lot in your room with mommy. You like to take out all of your stuffed animals and play with them.
For the most part you like your play pin. You will sometimes play in it for 30 minutes...other times you want to be where all the action is and demand to get out.
You got to celebrate Christmas with all of your cousins and Grandpa, Uncle Todd and Aunt Lynn. Mrs. Kelly was not feeling good so she had to stay home.
You let Dylan read Brown Bear, Brown Bear to you. He is learning how to read and is doing great!
Aunt Kristan got to hug you, kiss you, and spoil you while she was in town.
Grandpa brought you lots of fun toys. Your favorite one is your bucket with all the different shapes in it.
Uncle Todd and Aunt Lynn are sooo cool. Here he is helping you open a present. They are always buying you gifts for no reason and Aunt Lynn loves to come visit you.
Once the boys opened their DS games they were a little preoccupied the rest of the evening.
You love your Aunt Andrea!
The next night you celebrated Christmas with your cousins and Gramere. Ummmm, how did we end up with so many presents???
Daddy fried yet another delicious turkey...make that two turkeys!
And SOMEBODY could not keep their grubby paws away from the turkey while Daddy was cutting it...???

Then it was time to open presents!
You were so alert and helped tear off the wrapping paper.
You got so many presents we had to take a break because there was too much going on for you!
You love Curious George...thank you Aunt Kristan!
I love you soooo much!
Why is it the big kids sometimes act like the little kids when they get a big present???
Parker, please tell Daddy we don't want any mountain men in our house. Show him where the Gillete is!
Colby Luke loved playing with his bowling pin set from Gramere!
And last but not least, you loved your new play table from Gramere! You stand up to play with this a lot of the time and it is helping you learn to balance yourself!
What a great and busy December this has been. I hope we can all get well this week and start feeling better.
