The Brunson Family: Three Weeks Old

This is Parker's favorite position to sleep. Any time he is sleeping his hands are above his head. When we swaddle him at night, this is what he looks like when he wakes up.

Three weeks old...can it be true??? His two week checkup was last week. He gained almost a pound in a week, now weighing 7lbs 12oz. He is loooong and skinny. He is such a good baby, we are very blessed. His routine is to start his morning at 6:30. His last feeding is at 10pm, he wakes up again between 2:30am and 3:30am and then again between 6:30am and 7:30am. Not too bad for only three weeks!

After about a week of not eating, Mox has finally started being social again. He just sniffs Parker's head for a few seconds and then goes about his business. He also follows Parker around everywhere. If he can't find him he searches the house for him. When I rock him at night he lays at the door to his room almost like he is protecting us. It is pretty cute.

Last week I put Parker in his crib for the first time and he loves it. He now takes his naps during the day in his crib. This was his first experience with his aquarium. He couldn't take his eyes off of it.

I just love this outfit so I had to include it!

This is Parker chillin in the morning. His Aunt Loreta in Paris, TX made this blanket for him. His eyes are so wide now when he is awake, and they are starting to change colors. Green or Brown...bets anyone??
